Interview on Geothrmal energy

Interview with Sarina Gallo in the commercial group for geothermal energy.
Sarina is also working with Emily Aylsworth, and Amanda Spagnola

Q- Are you a geothermal energy pro or con?
A- Pro!

Q- What are some pros about geothermal energy?
A- It is safe for environment, and it only costs about 3 million dollars for the whole world to use it.

Q- What are some cons?
A- You have to drill holes in the ground which may hit titonic plates causing the plates in the earth to shift, so this may create earthquakes.

Q- What is your commercial about?
A- It persuades people to see that geothermal energy is good.

Q- What is geothermal energy?
A- Geothermal energy drills holes in the ground, and then you pour water into it which causes the water to boil since the earth’s crust is hot. The steam turns the turbines then the energy is put into the power lines.

  1. Nice interview very nice questions just be careful because it isn't 3 million for the whole world its just for one power plant. Very nice questions though and very true answers.

  2. Geothermal energy could be a great source to power the world. Unlike coal geothermal energy is renewable and doesn't. Relate much space, like coal, where we dig up thousands of miles of land. We could build these types of plants almost anywhere. Only 3 million $ for a plant. -SG
